Rexburg is a city in Eastern Idaho. Rexburg is close to the St. Anthony Sand Dunes, the West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park and the Grand Tetons.

BYU-Idaho campus: a university run by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS). Construction of Idaho's third LDS temple began in Rexburg in 2004, and was completed in 2007. It was dedicated by President Thomas S. Monson on 10 February 2008. The temple dedication was postponed from its original date because of President Gordon B. There's lots of stuff to do in "America's Family Community". There's lots of parks to play in. There's Rexburg Rapids, Rexburg's water park complete with two water slides and a lazy pool. There's Bear World, where you can pet baby bears and other animals and also drive around the park and see all kinds of animals including, bear, moose, and buffalo (really bison.) This large stretch of quartz sand accumulates in 400-foot dunes in places, and is a popular getaway especially for ATV enthusiasts. The serving of hard liquors has been prohibited since 1947, and the predominantly LDS culture has left the city with no nightclubs, bars, or coffee shops. Restrictions on sales of alcohol have been eased as the city has grown, and it is now possible to purchase beer and wine at some restaurants (Applebees, which is outside city limits). But you can purchase alcohol in stores.

Rexburg is accessible by air via Idaho Falls Regional Airport (IDA IATA), and via Salt Lake International Airport (SLC IATA). Rexburg is about 250 miles north of Salt Lake City, 300 miles east of Boise, and 80 miles west of Jackson Hole. To drive to Rexburg from Salt Lake City take the I-15 north through Pocatello to Idaho Falls. Take exit 119 for the US-20. Drive 25 miles and take exit 333 for Main Street, Rexburg. Salt Lake Express offers intercity bus service.

Basically you can walk everywhere in Rexburg fairly quickly. If you need a car because it's cold outside, Enterprise car rentals has cars around campus called WeCar. You can hop in one and for a small fee you can drive wherever you want. There are always bikes around if you prefer to get some exercise.
