Lynnwood is a suburban city of 39,000 people (2019) in the North Sound region of Washington State. As it as at the crossroads of I-5 and I-405, it is a bedroom community for Seattle, Everett and Bellevue, and has one of the largest concentrations of retailers in the region, anchored by the Alderwood Mall.

All trains come from Shoreline, Northgate, University of Washington, Capitol Hill and Downtown to the south after splitting at International District/Chinatown: The 1 Line from Downtown Federal Way to the south, via Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, Tukwila and South Seattle.
