Lynnwood is home to one of the largest Korean communities in Washington. Lynnwood's stretch of WA 99 has some of the best Korean food in the region.

Paine Field, with commercial flights to select destinations in the western U.S., is a few miles northwest of the city. Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, the largest airport in the region, is about 1 hour south by car or light rail. Interstate 5 (I-5) runs through the city, connecting to Seattle to the south and Everett to the north. The I-5 interchange with Interstate 405 (I-405) and State Route 525 (WA-525) is just north of city limits. All trains come from Shoreline, Northgate, University of Washington, Capitol Hill and Downtown to the south after splitting at International District/Chinatown: The 1 Line from Downtown Federal Way to the south, via Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, Tukwila and South Seattle.
