Open 24 hours a day for fishing, fishing passes can be purchased for $9/day ($4.50 for children 12 and under), and rods can be rented for $9. Also has large arcade, cafe, and bar at the end of the pier. Cafe opens for breakfast and lunch at 7:00 AM, closed for the winter in December, January, and February. For more than four decades, the wonderful Garden City Pavilion Arcade has been entertaining both children and their parents with one of the largest collections of games on the Grand Strand.

Voted "best restaurant with a view" and "most romantic" by The Sun News; Gulfstream Cafe is the only restaurant on the Strand overlooking the ocean on one side and Murrells Inlet on the other.
