I-65 runs on the east side of the city. Exit-243 serves Crown Point. From here North US-231 enters the Crown Point. From Gary Route 17 of the Gary Public Transportation Corporation's commuter bus can be taken to the Lake County Government Complex on the northside of Crown Point.
