Started as a purely local equestrian event in 1990, the Stuart Horse Trials today attract everyone from local amateurs all the way up to international Olympians. Dressage, cross-country, and show jumping are all contested over the course of the event. New in 2014, they've added some Scottish Highland Games to the last day. Free; parking $10/day or $25 for all 3 days.
