Sedro-Woolley is a city (formerly two cities that couldn't agree on a combined name) in the Skagit Valley in northwest Washington State. If you want to understand Washington state's logging history, start here. Logging is not a thing of the past. You'll still see loggers walking into Oliver-Hammer to buy cork boots and hickory shirts.

State Route 20 (WA-20) passes through town, from the west towards Burlington and Interstate 5 exit #231, and from the east along the North Cascades Highway towards North Cascades National Park. From SVC the same bus becomes the 305 which continues towards Sedro-Woolley.
