Montville is a town in New Jersey. It is largely a bedroom community for people who work in New York, but it has a nice small-town feel to it. In 2007, Montville was ranked by Money magazine as the 13th best place to live in the United States and the best in New Jersey.

Montville is along George Washington's route during the Revolutionary War. 1 Henry Doremus Dutch Stone House, 490 Main Rd, Towaco. A Dutch-American stone house built around 1760.
