The City of Progress has numerous establishments in which a voyager can exchange currency for consumable comestibles. There are a variety of predictable franchise establishments on US 84, which forms the Boll Weevil Circle that surrounds the Enterprise. Such restaurants include Subway, McDonalds, Burger King, Goodburger, Chick-Fil-A, Moe's. As one can expect in the South, there are numerous BBQ restaurants including Hook's BBQ and Shane's Rib Shack. Mellow Mushroom and the Barrel Room also provide food in exchange for currency. Don't let their names fool you: Mellow Mushroom is a purveyor of the Italian-American dish known commonly as "pizza" -- they do not sell any kind of fungus, mushroom, or truffle. Likewise, although named "the Barrel Room," this is not a cooper's establishment. This location sells a variety of American foods supplemented by a wide-range of alcoholic beverages. Also, Lowe's has a few snacks in the check-out aisle.
