Traveler Guide to Denmark, WI
Denmark is a village of 2400 residents in southeastern Brown County in Northeast Wisconsin, about 15 miles southeast of downtown Green Bay.
Settled by a Prussian immigrant in 1846, the village grew to house Denmark immigrants a few years later, and the area received rail service by 1906. The village was incorporated in 1915. 1 Devil's River State Trail. A 14.24 mile state recreational trail that begins in Denmark, and travels south to Rockwood, Wisconsin. Walking and bicycling are the most common activities in the summer, and cross country skiing, snow shoeing, and snowmobiling are permitted in winter. (updated Feb 2015)

Interstate 43 (I-43) passes Denmark on the western edge of town, connecting the village with Manitowoc, Sheboygan, and Milwaukee to the south, and Green Bay to the north. WIS 96 ends at I-43 and runs west to Appleton.
