Traveler Guide to Casselberry, FL

Casselberry is a city in Seminole County, Greater Orlando, Florida.

Casselberry is one of many suburbs on the northeastern side of Orlando. It is between two important suburbs of the city: Sanford to the north, which is the location of the Sanford/Orlando Airport and a lakefront, and Winter Park to the south, the location of Rollins College. Longwood is a suburban community near Casselberry. Like Casselberry, it is primarily residential and those traveling to Longwood will want to stay in one of the larger local suburbs. However Casselberry's few restaurants and parks are within a few miles of Longwood and there is little to separate these two suburbs.

1 Lake Concord Park, 127 Quail Pond Cir (turn off US-17/92 onto Triplet Lake Dr and then make a left at Quail Pond Cir). (updated Jul 2021) 3 Casselberry Art House, 127 Quail Pond Cir (at Lake Concord Park), ☏ +1 407 262-7700 Ext 1112. M-F 9AM-4PM. (updated Mar 2025)

For a wider selection of hotels, there a number of suburbs in Greater Orlando that provide options. You can try Maitland/Winter Park to the south. 1 Hometown Studios by Redroof, 210 N Oxford Rd, ☏ +1 407 265-7699. Check-in: 3PM, check-out: 11AM. Budget hotel with mixed reviews, predominantly either one-star or five-star out of five. (updated Jul 2021)

US-17/92 is the main route through the Longwood/Casselberry area. It connects the towns to the more central parts of the Orlando metro area to the immediate south. I-4 goes just west of the town. There are two Sunrail stations in Casselberry's vicinity, one being for Longwood and the other being for Altamonte Springs. Neither are in great locations for visiting Casselberry itself, though, so you'll need to have a car or know someone with a car to connect from either of these stations. 1 Altamonte Springs Sunrail Station, 2741 S Ronald Reagan Blvd. Closest station to Casselberry. A major Lynx bus transit hub, although routes go west, toward Apopka rather than toward Casselberry. (updated Jan 2025) 2 Longwood Sunrail Station, 149 E Church Ave. Provides access to downtown Longwood but is some distance from Casselberry. You will need a car to get from the station to Casselberry, as while there is a Lynx Bus connection at the station, it follows FL-434 toward Oviedo and not to the south. (updated Jan 2025)
